Bridge Grid Flooring Manufacturers Association BGFMA is comprised of companies who manufacture steel grid flooring systems for bridges.

We promote the use of grid reinforced concrete bridge decks through data collection, research/development and education.

Completed in 2005, the Florida Avenue Bridge transformed marine navigation in New Orleans. Designed by Modjeski and Masters, the 352-foot vertical lift span replaced a 1920s bascule bridge, widening clearance from 93 to 300 feet and eliminating a major traffic bottleneck.

Senior VP Ralph Eppehimer helped bring this project to life, navigating construction around live traffic, floodwalls, and even Hurricane Katrina.
