What’s the Biggest Mistake People Make When Building a New Shop?
Spend enough time around farmers and shop owners and you’ll hear the same thing:
“If I had it to do over again, I’d do it differently.”
Maybe the building was too small.
Maybe the doors ended up in the wrong place.
Maybe there’s no room overhead for storage.
Maybe posts are right where you need to drive equipment.
Or maybe the building just doesn’t work as well as you thought it would.
That’s exactly why we built the K Building.
The steel mainframe carries the heavy load straight to the foundation. That gives you the freedom to put large doors and windows where they make sense, even if it wasn’t a part of the original design. The vaulted ceiling opens up valuable overhead space. And the wood framing makes it easy to finish, insulate, and modify to meet your changing need, for years to come.
Not post frame.
Not all steel.
Just a smarter way to build.
The good news is the next one doesn’t have to come with the same compromises.
If you could rebuild your current shop, what would you change?
