We will be closing our Vassar location tomorrow (Friday 6/12 from 1pm-4pm) while we celebrate the life of and say goodbye to our beloved friend and co-worker Morgan Wegrzyn.

We have a memory book in the store to leave messages for Morgan’s family. We will keep that out for the next week and then give it to the family.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love, compassion and understanding from our community đź–¤

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved co-worker and friend, Morgan Wegrzyn.

Morgan came to us at 17 years old and spent 8 years as part of our Vassar True Value family. We had the privilege of watching her grow from a bubbly, bright teenager into an incredible and talented young woman. We were there when she married Zack — who also works with us part-time at our Frankenmuth location — just a few short years ago. And we watched with such pride as she took her love of photography to the next level, developing into a truly gifted action photographer at sporting events.

We are so grateful for every one of those years. And we are brokenhearted to now have to say goodbye.

If you've ever shopped at our Vassar store, you know Morgan. You know the smile that greeted you at the door. You know her warmth, her kindness, and the genuine care she showed every single customer who walked in.

She was just 25 years old. She was one of ours. And we will miss her more than words can say.

Our whole hearts go out to Zack and all of Morgan's family. We will be there for them in whatever way we can.

Please keep Morgan and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. đź’™

We will have a memory book in the Vassar store starting on Thursday, we welcome any customers that knew Morgan to stop in and write down some of your memories.
