Kevin E. sent us his Triumph cafe racer build. He designed and 3D printed the tail section and taillight housing himself, in PETG.
He put a plastic primer on the printed parts first. Then the tank, tail and housing all got KBS 2K DTM Build Primer, a light sanding, and three coats of KBS MAXX in Silver Metallic Satin. He sprayed the MAXX at low pressure on purpose to get that spattered texture.
"I wanted the parts to have a heavy duty, low shine and low maintenance look and that's exactly what I got. I couldn't be happier."
The last six photos show each part in primer, then in MAXX. Thanks for sharing it, Kevin.
