Watch what happens when the blades meet the hinge.

Our cutters are designed so the blades pull the tool into the material as they close. During a hinge cut, that means the tool naturally works its way into the hinge instead of pushing itself away from the cut.

It’s a small detail in the blade design, but it can make a big difference in how the tool performs.
