🚨 End of the day call.

After a full day of work, James and Daniel headed out to assist with a water department project so excavation could continue and crews could move on to the next phase.

Some jobs aren’t planned days in advance. The phone rings, priorities change, and you adjust.

This is only phase one, and we’ll be heading back out once the next stage is ready.

We brought in a couple temporary employees today to help with some of the office updates.

Their experience is questionable…

Their attention span is even more questionable…

But their enthusiasm is off the charts. 😂

Sometimes it’s okay to step away from the daily grind and enjoy moments like these.

Not every repair job is a broken gate or a handrail.

Sometimes it’s climbing inside a City of St. Louis trash truck and rebuilding a rail system that’s been beat up day after day.

Big shoutout to Jaycin for tackling this one.

What I like about these pictures is they represent exactly who our crew is. Nobody is standing around waiting to be told what to do. We assess the problem, come up with a game plan, and get after it.

It’s not flashy work, but it’s important work.

And at the end of the day, that’s what Valley Park Welding is all about… solving problems and getting our customers back up and running.

THROWBACK: A little behind-the-scenes from a project we completed for the circus a couple of years ago.

With the circus making its way back into town, it reminded me of one of the more unique repairs we’ve ever been a part of.

Not every day you get a call to weld and reinforce equipment that helps keep a show like this moving safely and smoothly.

That’s one of the things I love most about this trade… one day we’re repairing heavy equipment, the next we’re fabricating structural steel, and sometimes we’re welding underneath a giant steel globe while dirt bikes are involved. 😎🔥

Projects like these are a reminder that no two days are ever the same at Valley Park Welding.

55 years in business and we’re still getting opportunities to work on some pretty cool projects around the St. Louis area.

Sometimes it’s fun to look back and remember that the welding trade can take you to some unexpected places. 💪🏻🇺🇸

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Valley Park Welding.

Today, we want to recognize all of the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who show up every single day.

The men who wake up before the sun, work with their hands, provide for their families, and still make time to coach ball games, help with homework, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Being a father isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present.

As a family business that was built on hard work and passed down through generations, Father’s Day means a little extra to us. We know the value of setting an example, carrying on traditions, and teaching the next generation what pride, dedication, and integrity look like.

Here’s to the dads who build, fix, teach, protect, and lead by example every single day.

🇺🇸 Proud to be a Court Sponsor at the Bags Battle at Ballpark Village, hosted by Jersey County Co****le.

One thing I love about events like this is seeing people from all over come together to enjoy some friendly competition, support local businesses, and spend time with great people.

I’ve thrown my fair share of bags over the years, so it’s pretty cool to have Valley Park Welding be a small part of an event that’s become such a big draw.

The tournament is just getting started, but if previous years are any indication, it’s going to be an awesome turnout.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to support organizations and events that help bring our community together.

Sometimes building relationships happens in the shop… and sometimes it happens with a co****le board in the middle of Ballpark Village. 👊🏻💪🏻

Friday morning and we’re already checking another one off the list.

This silo came into the shop with damage to the sidewall that needed immediate attention.

Joe cut out the damaged section, formed and rolled a brand-new piece, fitted everything into place, welded it back together, and had it ready for the customer to pick up and get back to work.

That’s what keeps jobs moving — finding a solution, getting it done efficiently, and minimizing downtime for the customer.

Big shoutout to Joe for knocking this one out. 👏🏻💪🏻

One thing we’ve learned over 55 years in business: customers aren’t just bringing us broken equipment… they’re bringing us problems that are stopping production. Every hour they’re down matters.

Today was another good example of why having an experienced crew makes a difference.

Customer picked it up and it’s already back out the door before the weekend. 🇺🇸🔥

🎥💪🏻 Usually, it’s one of the crew members in the hot seat for our 60 Seconds With The Crew videos…

This week, they decided to flip the script on me while I was working on a boat motor repair.

A lot of people don’t always see what goes into these types of repairs. Jobs like this take patience, precision, and a little extra time because you have to protect all of the internal seals and components while making sure the repair is done right.

I may spend a lot of time wearing the owner hat these days, but you’ll still find me out in the shop getting dirty right alongside the crew.

WE ARE NOT THE FIRST CHAPTER

We’re currently making some updates to the Valley Park Welding office.

Not because we’re trying to become something different…

But because we want our office to better reflect who we are today and where we’re headed in the future.

When my grandpa started Valley Park Welding in 1971, I don’t think he could’ve imagined where we’d be 55 years later.

My grandpa started Valley Park Welding.

My dad dedicated his life to it.

Now it’s my turn.

My responsibility is not to rewrite their story.

My responsibility is to honor it, grow it, and leave it stronger for the generations that come after me.

We will work hard.

We will treat people right.

We will build relationships that last.

We will never forget where we came from.

And when people hear the name Valley Park Welding, I don’t want them to just think of a welding company.

I want them to think of trust.

I want them to think of craftsmanship.

I want them to think of a company that’s proudly served this community since 1971.

This is only one small piece of a much bigger vision.

We’ve got a lot more exciting things coming in the future, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you.

🔥 Quick turnaround. Quality work. Another customer back up and running.

Big shoutout to James for knocking out another heavy equipment repair for one of our great customers.

The attachment wouldn’t lock into place properly, so James fabricated a custom shim and reinforcement plate, welded everything in, and got them back in business without the long downtime of waiting on replacement parts.

This is exactly the type of work we pride ourselves on at Valley Park Welding — finding practical solutions, making durable repairs, and keeping our customers productive.
