Did you Know We Design and Manufacture Helicopter tools for overhead power line work?

When a client approached us for a custom personnel ladder hook for use in overhead power line construction from helicopters, we jumped on the opportunity to be of service and demonstrate our engineering skills.

Since the lives of linemen would depend on this hook, we used a finite element analysis tool integrated into our design software to develop a robust ladder hook. We then confirmed the results with a mechanical test to failure, resulting in a product that far exceeds the rated 5000lb capacity to ensure their safety.

Our wood Pole Top Mounts have been simplified to reduce cost and complexity while allowing for more adjustability and stability. Using our unique assembly, full 360-degree rotation is achieved using one bolt and can be tilted up to 24 degrees in any direction to accommodate poles that may be significantly out of plumb.

While we are familiar with most antenna models and have developed systems for all of the industry standards, we can quickly accommodate anything you require and are always changing to meet the industry’s rapid progress.

All of our shrouds and skirts are made on demand from durable ABS plastic with a textured exterior to accommodate paint. Our plastic skirts allow for easy cutting if a luminaire arm is present. Metal skirts are also available.
