Selva d’Arme is an event site that is being constructed as a place to study living history and perform Deeds of arms as well as training for these Deeds. It is located in Laurel, Ms and features a 80'x150' covered arena. Over time the site will include living quarters, dedicated workshops for smithing, leatherwork, pottery, and even carpentry. We train every Sunday at 2:00 PM and have equipment readily available for new people to use as they learn what combat was like in medieval times. The skills, techniques, and strategies are historically accurate and practical. Our coordinators have a very in depth knowledge of combat and life styles of the time period. We often practice with the long sword, arming sword and buckler, saber, spear, bow, crossbow, halberd, horseback riding, horseback combat, and jousting. Come and join us, whether it be one of our scheduled tournaments or a training day.
