Hey Northwest PA Maple Producers!🎉

Producer/Sugarhouse Registration is now OPEN for the 2027 Northwest Maple Taste & Tour. Registration and Fees are due by midnight November 6th, 2026.
Applications are only being accepted online or paper via mail.

We have been in the maple industry for over 60 years, and producing it ourselves since 1987! We have four generations of family maintaining about 2,000 taps that we cook on our oil-fired evaporator. We utilize a tubing/vacuum system as well as reverse osmosis to cut down on cook time. Come see our new renovations, enjoy a children's maple activity, sample our products, enter our maple giveaway and enjoy one of our Famous Homemade Maple Apple Dumplings or Maple Sloppy Joes*, Maple Milkshake, Maple Lemonade, as well as other food* and refreshments! Take home one of our many Blue Ribbon maple products with you!
We will also be featuring baked goods* made with our own pure maple syrup & pure maple sugar from Mary's Wholesome Bakehouse, and maple macarons* from Britt’s Merriment Macarons!

Here at Windy Knoll Maple we are a family and friend run business. We have expanded our operation since last year and are currently tapping 8,000 trees from our previous 1,500. Come out and check out the new CDL 8 post RO and sap filtration system. We are boiling on a 3.5x12 CDL Deluxe Evaporator, also we run and CDL and Lapierre monitoring system so we always know what is happening in our many miles of tubing. While you are here grab some fresh maple syrup, maple sugar, and try some of our amazing maple lemonade!

Munnell Run Farm is a 163-acre educational facility located in Mercer, Pennsylvania, and encompasses a diverse woodlot, cattle farm, and so much more. The Farm was once a part of the Mercer County Home and Hospital, which has since been divided into multiple properties, including the Mercer County Career Center and Avalon Springs Nursing Home.

Many of the Home’s historic buildings are still scattered around Munnell Run Farm and have since been repurposed, including the dairy-barn-turned-sugar-shack. Staff of the Mercer County Conservation District now manage the Farm, including its sugar shack and maple production.

Our focus is on education! During the Maple Taste and Tour, we’ll have primitive tree-tapping demos, wood-fired evaporator demos, and guided tree walks with the PA Bureau of Forestry. Additionally, you can enjoy campfires, kids’ activities, and wagon rides around the farm. The Mercer County Historical Society will be also onsite to guide you through the Rural Life Museum and historic Bigler House.

Stop by on Saturday to enjoy some free family fun on the farm! We will not be open on Sunday.

Triple J Farms owns 250 acres of fields and forest. We have over 3,000 taps on a wet/dry vacuum system. In the sugarhouse, you will see a reverse osmosis machine and a Leader 3 x 8 reversed fired oil evaporator. We will have syrup, bourbon barrel aged syrup, coffee bean maple syrup, maple BBQ, maple spices, peanut brittle, maple cotton candy and more available to taste and purchase. We are a family operation that has been producing maple syrup since 1944. Presently we have 1,400 taps on tubing. Syrup is processed on a 3 ½ x 10 wood fired evaporator with a steamaway. Our syrup has won numerous awards over the years; the PA Farm Show, Best in Show twice, the NAMSC for light amber category. Won 2019 Best of Show at Waterford fair. Free samples of Maple syrup, coated nuts, candy, cream, mustard, crumb, and maple cotton candy will be available and also for purchase. Join us for lunch where you can purchase a Smith hot dog and enjoy a free hot beverage. Take a chance on our free maple basket. Credit cards accepted.
