From an 1866 Indiana barn to a new gathering place in Paso Robles/Tin City. 🍷
The hand-hewn beams in the wine club lounge at Ella’s Vineyard came from the historic Yoke Family Barn, where generations of farmers once gathered to weigh their livestock and grain.
More than 150 years later, American Barnwood helped give those timbers a new life at Ella’s Vineyard, where wine club members now gather beneath the same beams to share wine, stories and time together.
We love seeing the history in our reclaimed wood live on. A new place. A new purpose. And another generation gathering together. We are also neighbors! American Barnwood is just down the road from Ella’s tasting room. Stop in for a tasting, see the Barnwood in it’s new home, then come visit us and discover a piece of history of your own!

This wood once stood in a barn where communities gathered to celebrate. Now, nearly two centuries later, it has been repurposed into a beautiful pergola where friends and family can come together once again. We love seeing our barnwood begin a new chapter in SLO, especially as the owners open this incredible gathering space for a fundraiser benefiting City Farm SLO. Old wood. New memories.

🚜 A new barn has arrived! 🪵
Today we welcomed another piece of history to the yard. Built with old-growth wood from the 1800s, this barn from Middletown, Indiana has already lived one incredible life—and now we get to help continue its story.

We love being part of the journey that gives this beautiful wood a new purpose while preserving the character, craftsmanship, and history that simply can’t be recreated.

Closed July 4-9, 2026!
We will be closed to celebrate our country’s 250th Birthday in order to enjoy some BBQ and holiday fireworks with friends and family. We will re-open for regular hours on Friday July 10, 2026 at 10am. Happy 4th!
