An oldie but goodie design we attempted to flush out in early 2012. Clear compression formed acrylic ADA unit numbers with 100% 2nd surface aligned graphics... Yikes!!

Back then and even now, panel shrink and manual alignment made scaling up for production nearly impossible. Now that precision flatbed UV/3D ADA sign making is fast on the rise, it's a good time for product developers to get on that high precision boat!

For 34 years, the functionality paradox of ADA sign product advancement has been found in the interpretive requirements of two separate and distinct human senses, vision and touch. Simply put, advancements in VISUAL function are diametrically opposed to advancements in TACTILE function. Most ADA sign projects today are designed and fabricated the old way... with combined "raised visual" messaging that will forever be caught in the functionality paradox. Not exactly a dual-function sign requirement made in 1990 legislative heaven... So changes were made in 2010.

The intent of "Dual Purpose" ADA Signage is to allow separation of the visual and tactile communication "platforms" to convey a single message. Now what if there were a clear acrylic ADA lens product that arrived fully "Tactile Compliant" and ready for final graphics and/or fabrication?
