UPDATE: We’ll be here until 3 PM today with FREE ICE for anyone who needs it.

Amigos, thank you for helping us spread the word. Together, we’ve already been able to donate more than 10,000 lbs of ice in just a few hours directly to our neighbors and community.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by, shared our posts, picked up ice for others, or simply lent a helping hand.

This community has supported our family and our business for decades. We’re incredibly grateful to call San Antonio home, and we’re always happy to step up and support our community when the opportunity arises.

Gracias, San Antonio. ❤️

It’s not just our drinks, roads, and infrastructure. Even medical research depends on ice. 🧊 Read our August cover story on Reddy Ice, the largest producer of packaged ice in North America, and how the company became the empire it is today: https://www.texasmonthly.com/culture/billion-dollar-packaged-ice-industry-reddy/

Summer in Texas means ice season is in full swing.

Our team works alongside advanced robots or “co-bots” to produce ice 24 hours a day and package ice 7 days a week to meet the demand. From production to packaging, our ice is never touched by human hands, helping ensure a clean, safe, and high-quality product ice in every bag.

IPIA is calling attention to new research identifying potential risks associated with water and ice vending kiosks.

A recent study from the University of Iowa found detectable levels of lead in water purchased from for-profit vending kiosks across multiple states, with at least one location exceeding EPA thresholds.

These findings highlight the importance of oversight, controlled production environments, and consistent standards when it comes to ice as a food product.

IPIA-accredited packaged ice is produced under strict quality control standards designed to protect public health and ensure consistency from source to consumer.
