On Wednesday, we were honored to host Senator John Thune and his team at our Box Elder, South Dakota, facility. This visit highlighted our long-standing mutual commitment to continuous improvement in military healthcare.

During the visit—led locally by the incredible Phil Rokus—we presented Senator Thune with an award for excellence in improving healthcare for active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. We also discussed our collective progress over the last 18 months and shared our vision for future patient care enhancements near Ellsworth Air Force Base.

Senator Thune’s approachable style put our entire team at ease. His genuine desire to listen and understand how his office can further support our mission gives us great confidence in the future of military medicine.
