White Pine is absolutely suitable for Lake country (or Lake of the Isles) flooring. Yes, it's technically a soft wood. But with the right finish it is durable and with MTM proper kiln drying it is exceptionally stable. Especially for a cabin that is only seasonally heated, or over in-floor heat. And no matter how hard you try, you'll never wear through it. From seedling to finish, Rajala Forestry and MTM know the forest and this product and market like the backs of our hands.
