Replacing a fence line starts with getting the old posts out of the ground.

The Rhino MP-3 manual post puller weighs 41 lbs, and its 60 inch handle pulls out for extra leverage on stubborn posts. The PL-3 does the lifting with hydraulics: 53 lbs, a 17 inch pulling stroke and a 3 ton capacity. Each one pulls up to a 4x4 wood post or a 4x6 H-column beam.

Harvest is in, the tractor is back at the shop, and the pasture fence still has posts to replace before the ground freezes.

The Rhino HPD-60™ Post Driver gets your post into frozen ground. Want to run it from your tractor? The Oil Flow Divider ( #801005) takes up to 22 gpm from the hydraulics on a tractor, loader, excavator or truck and drops it to 8 gpm to run the HPD-60 Post Driver. No need for a separate power pack to haul behind the driver. The driver puts 70 ft-lbs into every blow at 1,380 blows per minute on posts up to 3-7/8 inches, with the trigger mounted right on the driver.

Every tent in the MATRA Tent Village has to go up before the show opens, and this year you can watch it happen.

New for the MATRA 2026 Tent Show: Installation Observation Day. On Sunday, November 1, or Monday, November 2, tent professionals can see the installs firsthand, with a closer look at safe work practices and the teamwork behind every structure. Green Monster (Westchester Tool Rentals), a longtime user of Rhino Tent Stake Drivers, will be there with firsthand knowledge. A pass is free with advance registration, and full PPE is required in the observation areas.

A chuck adapter that is too large for the post can let the driver fall off it. Rhino prints that warning on the sizing guide for a reason.

On pneumatic drivers the adapter is chosen by how heavy the post is per foot, not by what the post is called: 1.2 to 1.5 lbs, 2 to 2.75 lbs, or 3 to 4 lbs per foot, with separate profiles for channel post anchors and square anchors up to 2-1/2 inch. On a PD-55 that is PT # 070617, 070618 and 070619 in that order.

Rhino sizes the chuck about 1/8 inch over the post for clearance, so measuring the post is most of the job.

What is still open on your equipment list for this year?

If a post driver attachment makes the list, start planning your build now. Rhino CEA attachments are custom built in Kewanee, Illinois, and usually in your hands in two weeks or less. Demand has been high, and can extend lead times. Be sure to let us know what you need before your season starts again.
