From the 1980s to today — now that's a renovation story worth telling!

When a recent HCA Florida Healthcare ICU project brought us back to its Oak Hill facility still running our original Modular headwalls from decades past, we couldn't help but feel a little proud. Those installations had been quietly doing their job for 40+ years. That's the kind of longevity that speaks for itself.

Then came the exciting part: Out with the legacy units, in with the latest generation of Modular headwalls — and the contrast was remarkable.

Seeing both side by side told a powerful story:

-> Then: The dependable, enduring craftsmanship of our 1980s installations

-> Now: Cutting-edge design, advanced functionality, and a sleek aesthetic built for modern healthcare

It was genuinely impressive to witness just how far headwall design and healthcare infrastructure have evolved — and to know that Modular has been at the forefront of that evolution every step of the way.

Projects like this are a true highlight of the durability that we've always built, while showcasing the innovations we've brought to the industry since then.

We build products that last — and when the time comes to upgrade, we make it worth the wait.

Something exciting is taking shape in Omaha!

The rough-in frame for our FORM® semi-recessed headwalls is in progress in the Clarkson Tower at Nebraska Medical Center- FORM® frames are designed to go in cleanly and simply, taking the guesswork out of early-stage installation and helping keep timelines like this one on track. We love to help simplify.

Looking forward to having our prefab headwalls fully installed in this space that is designed to support better patient care-opening this December!

When it’s complete, level four of Clarkson Tower will be transformed into a modernized Acute Care unit designed to support safer, higher-quality patient care.
