🔧 Behind the Build: Our Fab Department

A lot of work goes into the products we build — and our fabrication team is right in the middle of it.

From measuring and cutting to welding, fitting, and finishing, our fab crew takes pride in the details that bring each project together. The work isn’t always the part you see first, but it plays a big role in creating a quality finished product.

Our fabrication department works on a wide variety of projects, and every one of them gets the same attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Last Friday, we had an amazing time at our company picnic during The Flying Mummies baseball game! ⚾️

The evening was filled with great food, fun, and even better company. We were thrilled to share the event not only with our employees, but also with our valued vendors, local fire departments, and close friends who help support our business and community throughout the year.

Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such dedicated partners, first responders, and friends. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success.

We appreciate all of you and look forward to doing it again next year!

Shoutout to Englewood Truck Towing and Recovery in Richmond, IN for doing the heavy lifting today!

This is our latest rehab project. We stripped the truck down to the bare chassis today. Now it’s off to have the frame sandblasted and painted, including a fresh paint job on the cab. While it’s away, we’ll start building a brand-new body for the department’s existing tank.

The rebuild also includes:
✅ All new upfitter wiring throughout the truck
✅ Updated lighting package
✅ Refreshed and modernized components
✅ Brand new pump house assembly

Projects like this are a great way to extend the life of dependable equipment while giving departments the upgrades and reliability they need without starting from scratch. We’re excited to bring this tanker back better than ever!
