Hey everyone,
Austin here from XPR Tree Service.

I wanted to take the time to write to all of our current and prospective customers during these desolate winter months.

Winter weather poses many difficulties and safety hazards beyond our control. Logistically and operational speaking, pur heavy equipment can not maneuver safetly in 8 to 10 or more inches of snow with the hidden danger of ice. No tires or chains will keep you safe. Unless the area is clear of snow or has almits no accumulation( hard to find in our neck of the woods), we must patiently wait.

Running rigging, tackle, and other tools of our trade is dangerous enough in ideal conditions. One slip can cause severe injury as noted in this first photo so PLEASE BE ADVISED!

Anyone who has fell a tree knows the importance and neccesity of having a safe, clear exit path as the tree comes down. Being knee deep in snow makes it almost impossible to get out of the way if things go south in a hurry.

Extreme temperatures also make all steel and metal products very brittle. In a dangerous occupation, we can not afford a weather related failure or break down when lives are stake.

One thing I must note also is the flak we have received on social media and Google for us not being "man enough" or "dedicated" enough to work right now. Believe us when we say we would rather be working than patiently waiting for the weather to break. Our safety, customer safety, and safety period is PARAMOUNT. No profit is worth risking so much.

As the winter weather continues to reek havoc on us, we assure you we WILL be back!

For anyone interested in estimates and project ideas, please feel free to still contact us as we will schedule you in and do our best to get to you as soon as possible.

****Firewood sale and delivery is still available and in stock! ****

From all of us at XPR Tree Service, stay WARM, stay SAFE, and we WILL see you soon!

Snow, snow go away.

05/02/2021

Is it springtime yet?
Or, is the snow gonna go away and or reduce itself to a workable accumulation?

Austin here with XPR Tree Service providing an update to all prospective and current customers. After another 11in of snow, we are sidelined, again, until the snow melts away enough until we can get our equipment on your property. Customer property integrity is paramount before we even begin a job and as a result of this winter weather, we do not want to risk damaging your property.

The heightened level of danger and difficulty brought with this weather is another factor preventing us from safetly and efficiently performing our work.

We anxiously await improved conditions so we can get back to serving our community!

Next stop this coming Friday is Painted Post for a job postponed two times because of inclement weather. Fingers crossed we can get it done!

Thank you all for your understanding :).
