Supporting renewable fuels infrastructure often begins with making economic use of existing assets.
For this blending & storage project in Tyler, Texas, IPM delivered complete engineering, design, and construction services to repurpose an existing gasoline storage tank into a biodiesel storage system integrated with blending and truck loading operations.
The facility was designed to receive biodiesel deliveries by truck, store the product in a modified tank equipped with insulation, heating, and circulation to maintain flowability, and blend the biodiesel prior to truck loadout.
By integrating storage, blending, and truck loading infrastructure, the project enables efficient biodiesel handling while maximizing the value of existing refinery assets.
