This year, we partnered with Tyler Junior College at the TISD Opportunity Fair to highlight how technical degrees can lead to careers in the material handling industry. Andra, a recent graduate of TJC’s Industrial Maintenance Program, has been working at LTS for over a year as a sweeper and scrubber technician. Through Andra’s experience, Career & Technology Education students were able to see a real-world example of how a technical degree can translate into a successful career in the material handling field.
