We recently shipped another Open Plant Cleaning (OPC) System to a U.S.-based customer in the medical device industry.
The OPC System is designed for cleaning fixed and open process equipment, such as packaging lines, that cannot be disassembled for manual cleaning, cleaned in situ, or processed in a washing cabinet.
The system includes one (1) combined Buffer and Booster Station that supplies on-demand rinse water and cleaning solutions at specified temperatures and pressures to three (3) remote satellites strategically installed at points of use throughout the process area. This configuration enables efficient cleaning of process equipment, as well as walls and floors.
While cleaning activities are still performed manually, the system provides significant benefits through its ease of use and precise control of critical cleaning parameters, including pressure, flow rate, temperature, and chemical concentration. By delivering cleaning media on demand and under tightly controlled process conditions, the system improves cleaning consistency, enhances operator efficiency, and strengthens overall process control.
The OPC System is supplied with our Data Collection System (DCS) and is fully integrated into the facility's Cleaning Management System (CMS), providing enhanced traceability, process control, and comprehensive documentation of cleaning activities.
