Not machining, but applies all the same. A year of consistency, arbitrary consistency. 10,000 steps a day minimum for a year. More growth comes from consistency than chasing perfection. Does the 10k number really matter, not really. But it was enough to get me out of comfort zone. Some days were easy. Some days sucked. But I did it either way. There were days I’d get back from a 20 mile mtb ride and have like 500 steps. Or traveling. Or road trips or sick. Just made sure to get it done. I’ll prob keep it up for at least a while. Even if I don’t hit it every day now it will be a consistent goal.
