WELDERS: MUST PASS WELDING TEST AND BLUEPRINT TEST, WELDING TEST IS A TRIPLE PASS ON A “T-JOINT” IN FOUR DIFFERENT POSITIONS. BLUEPRINT IS A SIMPLE DRAWING THAT MUST BE LAYED OUT ON A PIECE OF FLAT BAR, PUNCH THE HOLES AND MAKE SURE THEY LINE UP WITH BOLTS. PAY IS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS, $21-$35. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS (LIST WILL BE PROVIDED).

ELECTRICAL HELPER: APPLICANT SHOULD HAVE A BASIC MECHANICAL/AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE. EMPLOYEE NEEDS TO BE HIGHLY DRIVEN TO WANT TO GROW. THIS IS A GROWTH POSITION. PAY IS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS, $17-$21. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS.

RAILGEAR TECHNICIAN: MUST PASS WELDING TEST AND BLUEPRINT TEST. THIS IS A MORE INSTALLATION POSITION RATHER THAN JUST WELDING THE MAJORITY OF TIME. PAY IS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS, $21-$35. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS.

HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN: APPLICANT NEEDS STRONG BACKGROUND IN FLUID POWER, HYDRAULIC CIRCUITS, INSTALLATION OF HYDRAULIC PUMPS AND PTO’S AND HOW THEY WORK. PAY IS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS, $21-$35. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS

WELDER HELPER: THIS IS A GROWTH POSITION. PAY IS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS, $17-$21. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS.

Positions we are looking to hire for on our production floor:

High Level Hydraulic Specialist ($28 and up) (Pay dependent on previous experience and qualifications, we are looking for a higher end specialist)- Building custom hydraulic hoses, install pumps and PTOs, install tanks, coolers and hose reel options. Understanding hydraulic systems, schematics, valving, manifolds, hydraulic flows and pressures on heavy duty trucks is what we are looking for.

Automotive Mechanical Helpers (Pay dependent on previous experience and qualifications) - help in different areas as a mechanical helper and installer.

Forklift / Shop Hand ($15 and up) - Clean up (take out garbage, clean around shop, Etc.), Forklift, installing stickers, filling up trucks with gas, starting trucks on the lot to prevent battery damage.

Cahaba Truck & Equipment has three departments Light Duty, Medium Duty, and Heavy Duty and they are all growing this year, if you think you might be interested reach out and come take a look at the facility!

Cahaba Truck & Equipment is currently looking for a new team member with general mechanical knowledge to work in our small truck division as an installation technician.

Requirements:
- This position requires you to have your own mechanical tools.
- 40 plus hours
- Steel toes shoes
- Positive attitude and willing to learn new techniques

Other:
- Pay Range $15-$20 depending on skill set.
- After 90 days Short & Long-Term Disability
- BCBS after 90 days
- 1-week paid leave after a year. 2-weeks after 5 years
- Matching 401K after 1 year
