It is with great excitement that I introduce the newest full-time member to the Keystone team… say hello to Gavin! In 1968, Gavin’s great grandfather(my grandfather) started Keystone Truck Caps as a hobby to help put my aunt through college. As the company grew, we ventured outside of manufacturing caps and into the automotive accessory side of the industry. In 1992, my father purchased the business and brought me onboard. We expanded even further into the auto accessory market as well as still maintaining a solid truck cap manufacturing facility. In 1999, we were forced to move across town due to the bypass to our current location on the other side of Tunkhannock. Being 3 times the size of the original Keystone compound, we exploded into multi-vehicle outfitting, trailer sales, lettering and graphics and even power sports. Fast forward to April of 2017, I was able to purchase the business from my father. Since then, we had stepped away from the power sports and trailer sales, but continue to focus on automotive outfitting. We are one of the areas largest fleet upfitting companies, but we didn’t know something was missing. When Gavin approached me about coming on full time after graduation, he brought us into a whole new realm of services. The biggest being spray-on bedliners. Gavin is the main spray tech for Patriot Liner(actually, he’s the only one). More impressively, Gavin is 4th generation, which in this industry, is almost unheard of. Needless to say, I am beyond excited to see where he helps in taking Keystone. As always, we would Like to give a sincere thank you to our incredible customer base.
