This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness, and devotion to protecting the freedoms we enjoy will never be forgotten.

The Green Shirt Guy has Guy Engineering apparel.

During a recent live field test at Banana Ball in Tulsa, a participant wearing an official bright green Guy Engineering shirt achieved what broadcasters described as an “Impeccable catch” while simultaneously being referred to as “absolutely jacked.”

Scientists are still investigating whether the shirt itself contains performance-enhancing engineering technology… or if it simply unlocks the wearer’s final form.

Early reports suggest the apparel may be constructed from a rare high-performance material similar to Wakanda’s vibranium, engineered to absorb pressure, enhance reaction time, increase visibility, and activate elite-level performance in high-stakes environments.

Experts believe the apparel technology to be the same advanced technology helping Guy Engineering successfully deliver infrastructure, water, transportation, and civil engineering projects across Oklahoma and beyond.

In 1862, Mexico pulled off an underdog win at the Battle of Puebla: outnumbered, out-equipped, and still victorious.

Honestly… this sounds like every project right before the existing plans show up.

But like any good team, we adapt, overcome, and get it done.

Because whether it’s 1862 or 2026….. winning takes good planning, solid teamwork, and constant communication.

It’s not magic.
It’s just what we do.

So this Cinco de Mayo, we’re celebrating overcoming the odds and the well-earned tacos that come after, because in civil engineering, that’s just called Tuesday.

We may question the data.

We’re honored that two of our team members, Daniel Morales and Rebecca Alvarez, have served on the Oklahoma State University Civil Engineering Advisory Board. Their involvement helps bridge industry experience with academic programs, ensuring tomorrow’s engineers are well-prepared for real-world challenges.
