Linden House is a huge residence in Indianapolis designed to look like Old World Italy. Wiemann was called on to fabricate a number of features throughout, including a stellar staircase and railings.

Since 2023, the 151-acre estate has been owned and operated by RH Indianapolis as a design and hospitality destination. The public can visit the property's The Dining Room restaurant and get a glimpse of Wiemann craftsmanship while overlooking the lake.

As devotees around the world celebrate Holy Week, Wiemann Metalcraft looks back on projects for places of worship throughout the years.

We went straight to the top on this project from 2022 for the St. John Catholic Church near the campus of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Wiemann manufactured the two exterior crosses for the tower and sanctuary out of aluminum and finished with gold leaf. Cram and Ferguson were the architects for the building. Design and engineering of the crosses was done by Wallace Engineering in Tulsa, and Manhattan Construction was the contractor.

As many devotees around the world celebrate Holy Week, we look back on projects for places of worship throughout the years. In 2007, Wiemann completed several installs at Saint Thérèse Catholic Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma, including a pulpit gate and railings, railings for a baptismal font, and a decorative door panel. The work is forged iron and bronze, designed by Wiemann Metalcraft and Monsignor Brankin.

We love a good library. Our own collection of catalogs continues to inspire us as we work with clients on projects with ornamental emphasis.
Check out APT - The Association for Preservation Technology International and their collection of books and catalogs. Fantastically organized and searchable, it shows the importance of preserving historical records for future generations.

πŸ—ƒοΈ Did you know there's a πŸ†“ library of almost 16,000 historic architectural trade catalogs, house plan books, and building guides β€” all available online?

The Building Technology Heritage Library (BTHL), a project of APT, is an incredible resource for preservation professionals, architects, historians, researchers, and anyone who loves old buildings.
We're talking original construction documents that help answer the question: How was this building actually built?

πŸ‘‰ Explore it free at the Internet Archive: apti.org/building-technology-heritage-library

Know a preservationist, architecture student, or history buff who'd love this? Tag them below or share this post β€” you might just make their day. πŸ”–

When staying in Boston's Back Bay, The Colonnade is an excellent choice. We love the location and the service and the ... windows!
We just love the Innervision steel windows and doors installed for a private meeting area in the hotel's public spaces. The clean lines project elegance and sophistication, the wavy glass balances light and privacy.
