When you put your grow room together, make sure you’re using the right materials. As an example, many folks use wooden studs - yet, as we all know, long terms exposure to moisture (a/k/a irrigation) is destructive to all wood. In addition, know the interior walls need to be both smooth and reflective. Textured walls means there are a lot of places moisture, bacteria, and dirt can gather - all of which can affect (or possibly destroy) your yield. Smooth walls leave no place for contaminants to gather. In addition, since light (in all its forms) is crucial to the growth process, your walls need to be a reflective material, allowing you to fully maximize all of your lighting usage while evenly providing light to all growth areas.

Grow Room Pro Tip:
When putting together your grow room, be sure to use medical laboratory grade windows and doors. Traditional windows (such as those used in a home or office building) are set into the wall. The space between the window and the wall (even if only a few inches) is a perfect place for things like dirt, microbes, and moisture to gather… all of which can affect your yield. OK Grow Rooms uses only medical laboratory grade windows, that are flat and flush with the walls, eliminating those areas which can allow microbes and particulates to gather. Not only does this allow for cleaner air quality, but it allows for a decrease in contaminants affecting your growth process.
