The Loveland Nazarene Stillwater Church has been part of the Loveland, Colorado community since 1924. Recently Albina helped to remodel the center with some large curved steel pieces. This building serves as an active center for the community hosting things like food drives, holiday festivals, movie nights, student organization meetings and partners with a local children’s school. For this project Albina bent the following:

Bird Song Park in Windsor, Colorado is nestled in the heart of the Prairie Song residential community and is home to some beautiful, curved steel canopies bent by Albina. The Prairie Song community has approximately 600 acres of development and offers parks, trails, open spaces and neighborhood amenities. Albina rolled 26 pcs of TS 8” X 4” X .375” WALL A847 and 26 pcs of TS 3” X 2” X .250” WALL A847 for this project, entirely CORTEN weathering steel. This gives the structure a unique “rust-like” appearance and is an incredibly durable type of steel to use for construction. It is an aesthetically appealing and low maintenance option that looks especially good when curved!

Focused on sustainability, the curved steel tree like structure is a perfect accent to the Anything Nature Library’s mission and goals to share the nation’s first public nature library!

Anythink Nature Library in Thornton, CO! Opening August 8, 2026 it is “designed to be the nation's first public nature library, combining a traditional library with outdoor education, environmental learning, and direct access to nature.” The library was built on a 5-acre campus with direct access to the 140-acre Aylor Open Lands trail system. It also has outdoor gardens, a nature lab, sun and dark rooms, a café, and lots of lovely themed spaces to explore! Designed with sustainability in mind and “environmental stewardship as its central mission”, steel was the perfect choice for construction! Steel is an incredibly sustainable material, and curved steel in particular has a strong aesthetic appeal. Be sure to check out the Anythink Nature Library when it opens on August 8!
