Did you know letting your pressure washer run without spraying can cause serious heat buildup inside the pump? 🔥

When the trigger is released, the water is no longer flowing through the gun. Instead, it recirculates through the pump in bypass.

The longer it sits there running, the hotter that water gets — and that heat can eventually damage your pump, seals, valves, and other components.

💡 Tip: If you're not actively spraying, shut the machine down instead of letting it sit running in bypass.

A few minutes of running in bypass might not seem like a big deal, but repeated heat buildup can shorten the life of your pump and lead to expensive repairs.

🎨❄️ 3 THINGS YOU MUST DO BEFORE STORING YOUR PAINT SPRAYER!

Winter is coming — don’t let a frozen pump turn into an expensive repair.

1️⃣ FLUSH IT OUT
Remove all paint and thoroughly flush the system. Don’t leave paint sitting in the pump, hose, or gun.

2️⃣ PROTECT THE PUMP
Run the proper pump storage/winterizing fluid through the sprayer. This helps protect internal components while it sits.

3️⃣ KEEP IT FROM FREEZING
Store your sprayer somewhere dry and protected from freezing temperatures. Even a small amount of trapped water can cause damage when it freezes.
