Power Climber's new wire winder is a great way to store wire ropes and eliminate tail lines!

The winder is capable of storing up to 200 m of wire rope with a diameter of up to 10.2 mm. Requiring no motors or power supply to operate, the winder is easy to use and maintain. Aluminum construction makes it lightweight (approx. 20 kg) and corrosion resistant, and the compact design is easy to handle.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at ISEE!

The shared space with our local partner YantraaTech was a major attraction! YantraaTech set up a fully functioning 2:1 elevator installation mock-up using a Dual Lift hoist and pulley, allowing potential customers to see how the method works.

The show took place in Mumbai over three days in early December. Power Climber's Hari Krishnan, Regional Sales Manager – Middle East & India, and Gero Markowski, International Sales Manager – Elevator both participated.

"Overall, the show was a huge success," said Gero. "India is the second biggest elevator market in the world, and the economy is growing, so it looks like more is to come. We were thrilled to be part of the show!"

How many times have you had no power at a jobsite? Or maybe the jobsite has power, but it's unusable? Or maybe the jobsite had power for a time, but now it doesn't?

There are many instances where you might have no power at a jobsite. Here are just a few examples:
- Remote locations with no power at all (bridges, dams, overpasses, wind farms)
- Industrial facilities with no usable power (power plants, refineries)
- Restoration work on old/historic buildings with outdated wiring
- Gut rehabs (until new electrical is run)
- Early phases of new construction when power outlets are limited or unavailable
- Phasing issues or other electrical issues that require significant rewiring
- Planned outages (for example, power could be shut down when new main power to a building)

With the PC3 Relevation battery-powered hoist, no power at a jobsite is no problem! The PC3 Relevation keeps you productive while saving you the costs and headaches of renting a generator.

Just how much can unreliable power at your jobsite cost you?

Whether it's caused by overloaded circuits or fluctuating generator power, an inconsistent power supply can cost you a lot—especially over the course of a project.

Low voltage and fluctuating power can cause hoists to overheat. The result can be intermittent operation or even cause a hoist to shut down while your crews are working.

What does this mean in terms of cost?
- Lost productivity: Employees unable to work for hours impact your timeline and cost you money
- Repeated service calls costing hundreds of dollars each, and repair bills for damaged hoists
- Adding booster transformers to each stage
- Paying to have spare hoists on-site to help reduce downtime

Multiply all these expenses by the length of your project, and you can see how the costs of unreliable power can add up.

The PC3 Relevation battery-powered hoist frees you from jobsite power issues. As a result, you can save money while being more productive!

Imagine being able to reposition your swing stage at any time without having to re-route power cables. The PC3 Relevation lets you do just that!

How much time do you spend each day managing power cables?
- Routing cables to hard-to-reach power connections
- Re-routing them every time you reposition your platform
- Preventing them from banging against the building façade or windows
- Protecting them from damage
- Installing boost transformers
- Rewiring to correct improperly phased components at the site
- Coiling and storing them between shifts

Just handling them is not easy. Hoist power cables are heavy and bulky, often weighing as much as 33 lb per 100 feet, with many jobsites requiring hundreds of feet to power a swing stage. With the PF3 Relevation hoist, you can leave your hoist power cables behind.

Let's take a closer look at the features of the PC3 Relevation battery.

The powerful lithium-ion battery provides three hours of total run-time on a full charge (up and down travel combined). The battery charges when traveling in the down direction, helping to extend the battery life. (This also means you can always travel in the down direction, even with a low charge.)

The durable exterior battery casing has an IP64 rating, meaning it's protected from rain and dust. It also includes a built-in hanger bracket allowing it to easily mount to most swing stage platform systems. A power level LED on the hoist keeps you informed on how much charge you have left.

Charging is simple. Weighing only 38 lb, the battery is easily removed for charging when needed. The PC3 Relevation hoist includes a 5 amp battery charger that works on standard 110/220 volt power and fully charges a battery in eight hours.
