Built this big steel trellis at a place on the east side, using square tubing for the frame and solid welded joints. Filled it in with galvanized wire mesh to give the vines plenty to climb, and set everything up strong so it will hold up for years. Setup was smooth and the mesh fit up real clean inside the frame. Had a job where an old iron gate took a pretty good hit and got crushed in. Hauled it back to the shop, torch cut the bent spots, straightened out the main frame, and welded everything back solid. Put the pickets back in place, left the original finish since the patina looked nice. Got it swinging right again and back on its hinges. Reach out if you need something similar built. Spent about a week and a half up in Durango putting in a custom steel and welded wire mesh deer fence for friends of my aunt and uncle. Built around 180 feet of deer fence plus 50 feet of privacy fence, all right there in the driveway. Made a custom gate with a snowflake and paddle board design to finish things out. Wrapped up this curved handrail out front for a customer who wanted something sturdy and clean looking. Took some time getting the bend right with plate and round stock, then welded everything solid before sanding down and laying on a coat of paint. Had a customer out on the east side who wanted a modern shiplap look but with something tougher than wood, so I built this custom frame out of heavy-duty steel and welded in flat bar panels. Clean lines, solid welds, all fit up tight here in the shop before hauling out for install. The steel gives it a lot more strength and should hold up even better in the Tucson sun. Wrapped up this job building a wrought iron banister for a staircase and a matching railing for the second floor wall up in the foothills. Used solid steel pickets and top rail, all torch cut and welded piece by piece in the shop. Got everything fit tight and welded solid on site, then finished it off with a clean black paint. Had a few gate projects come together across town. One customer needed yard access from the alley, so we reused their old chain link fabric and built a solid steel frame on wheels that rolls easy. Another job was a picket-style gate set in concrete for some added security out front. We also put in a clean swing gate to match a stucco wall entry. Built these property gates up off Skyline and Oracle late last year. Used perforated steel backing for privacy, then had the whole thing powder coated to match the house and handle the Arizona sun. The entry gate has a tight arch, so I cut and welded plate and flat bar for that curve since tubing could not bend that far. Install went smooth and everything lines up nice. This week I finished up a steel backyard fence out in east Tucson. Started with new steel posts and welded in square frames, then filled it all with corrugated panels. Everything measured and cut to fit tight, so it went up smooth. The steel came primed and I hit the welds with matching paint after. Gives solid privacy and looks clean along the whole back lot. Got called out to redo a steel bollard guard for a code box up in Oro Valley. Old one was bent up, so I torched out the damaged post and set new pipe, welded solid at the base, then gave it a heavy coat of yellow so it stands out for cars.
