To the patrons of the Tucson Estates Plaza Businesses. This week we are having scheduled maintenance to our parking lot. As you can see in this video, a section of the parking lot is clearly blocked off where work was performed earlier today. This driver chose to drive through the cones and park in the closed off area. This parking lot property, as well as all of the businesses in this Plaza are Private Property. This area was blocked off for a reason, and you do not have the right to simply run through the cones to park where you please, nor to get upset when told you can’t park there and drive through the cones to leave.
Repairs and maintenance being performed in the parking lot this week are necessary to ensure the longevity and cost management of the property. We understand the level of inconvenience this may cause for some, but we ask for your patience as the work must still be performed. This repair is costing the collective business owners in excess of $24,000 dollars. Anyone who chooses to disregard the clearly blocked portions shall be reported to the Pima County Sheriff for vandalism and will be held accountable for any damages to the work that was performed. The paving company is making every effort to minimize the disruption to any business or customers. Please respect the areas that are blocked. Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas will be immediately towed at the vehicle owners expense.
