I don't often post here as LMW but this morning some clarification needs to be shared. The one and only thing LMW Marine LLC manufactures are textile goods making bottom seals, grout bags, equipment covers all for underwater construction.

Why am I stating this? Because the last 6 years I have been paying premium prices for liability Insurance obtained originally from the John B Wright agency located in Monmouth county NJ. The agency had me classified as a Fiberglass Jacket Manufacturer. Of which I'm not. I don't even touch the product as it gets dropped shipped from the manufacturer.

I suppose because I supply all these products for pile restoration there is a certain liability if any of it should fail. But along with me, the various contractors and the other manufacturers would all be liable for a failure.

If I cannot get classified as a "supplier" then I'm ready to obtain yet another LLC just for my manufacturing of Textile goods if that will alleviate the necessity to charge me out the w***o for an insurance policy I don't need.

If anyone out there has had experience with this please let me know what your situation is and how it was resolved? I'd appreciate any help you can offer!

The Walker Diving team of Dock Builders and Commercial Divers from #1556 as well, foremen, project manager all celebrate a job well done at Battery Park City New York NY.

LMW Marine supplied fiberglass pile jackets, Sika epoxy and in house manufactured bottom seals to keep this job furiously hauling at a unprecedented fast wrap up to an outstanding restoration at BPC.

Thanks to all that contributed, we are a team and strength in numbers!

First off the Marine Borer hasn't come back with a vengeance, they never left! We have been fighting against this problem for decades! LMW Marine, supplies the Fiberglass Pile jackets, the Welded wire cages and the bottom seals to contain the cement during a pour of cementitious or Epoxy grouts.

Marine borers have come roaring back in New York Harbor, threatening almost anything in the water made of wood.
