Shovels are in the ground and construction is officially underway on the BFS/TTL expansion at 2588 Wildhorse Drive, off Johnson Lane near the Minden Tahoe Airport.

We’re gearing up to open next summer and build a new lumberyard and retail location designed to deliver what Carson Valley builders have been missing - covered lumber sheds/storage, Northern Nevada's highest-quality building materials, a pro-focused retail store, dedicated contractor sales desk, and the friendly, excellent customer service and jobsite delivery you’ve come to expect from TTL for 95 years.

Now part of (BFS), we’re proud to carry forward the same community-first values that have defined Truckee Tahoe Lumber Company since 1931: continuing our legacy of local commitment with the added strength of a national partner.

We’re bringing the same great products and builder-first service approach to Minden, Gardnerville, and the greater Carson Valley that we’ve delivered in Reno/Sparks since 2014 and USA Parkway since 2018, but recently expanded with in-house truss design and manufacturing, custom doors, millwork, and windows.

From all of us at Truckee Tahoe Lumber, we wish our customers, friends, and families a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

All of our locations will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of the holiday. As we take this time off of working to help our customers and communities build, we pause to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

We recently had the chance to award the Portola High School baseball program with one of our monthly Community Outreach-based Marketing grants towards some building materials they used to construct a storage shed.

Coach Mark showed us the finished product the other day, and the shed came out great! While our roots are in Truckee and our hearts will always be with the Wolverines, we were glad to have helped out our neighbors to the North. Go Tigers (as long as you're not playing the Wolverines...)

A few weeks ago we were honored to sponsor the Sierra Nevada FC "Goals for Hope" Police vs. Fire soccer (futbol? football?) match at Mackay Stadium. This fun match benefitted one of our favorite Nevada charities - the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation ( ). Big thanks to the and for having us at the CATT Sporting Clays Tournament Friday at the . in Carson City. While the TTL teams did not win any of the trophies, the report from our staff was that one of our teams came very close to winning, and that everyone had a great time spending the day with colleagues from the building industry across the region. We are always glad to support CATT who tirelessly advocate on behalf of the local building industry. Thanks CATT for all that you do!

Happy Friday everybody! We wanted to give a shout-out to our Truckee load builders Nate, Bugsy, Spencer, and Chuck (and not pictured are Gavin and Brandon).

These guys bust their humps every day skillfully putting together bundles of lumber and building materials for deliveries, and the swing shift crew works tirelessly into the night after we all go home for the day.
