At the second BE4ALL Town Hall in Seattle, Ventcon joined industry leaders and members of Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA) , Sheet Metal Air Rail and Transportation Workers , and iTi at The Museum of Flight for an important conversation about the future of the sheet metal industry.
Ventcon and SMACNA President Todd Hill helped lead the discussion alongside SMART General President Michael Coleman and iTi Executive Director Michael Harris, focusing on a shared goal: building workplaces that are more welcoming, more sustainable, and better equipped to attract and retain top talent.
With a growing portion of the workforce approaching retirement, the conversation centered on what it takes to ensure the next generation sees a long-term future in the trades—and feels connected to something bigger than themselves.
At Ventcon, we know that meaningful progress starts with meaningful conversations. Participating in forums like this allows us to collaborate with labor partners, contractors, and industry organizations while helping shape a stronger future for our workforce and the trades as a whole.
We are proud to have a seat at the table, contribute to these important conversations, and continue supporting the long-term growth, culture, and success of our industry.
