I'm sitting here in the snow, just completed week two of no school and I have realized that I don’t have my yearly schedule posted yet! We started out the year as always at the Alafia River Rendezvous. We are going to the American Heritage Festival February 20-21st in Lake City, SC, an interesting timeline event with Rev War and WWII reenactments.
March 14-15 is the Battle for Guilford Courthouse in Greensboro, NC. March 26th-19th is OVPR in Surrey, WV.
April 10-17th will be the Southeastern Primitive Rendezvous in Yadkinville, NC.
April 28-May 3rd is Lancaster County Longrifles Rendezvous in Denver, PA.
June is a little sparse so far, the Blackbeard Pirate Festival is June 12-14th in Hampton, VA. The tall ships will be in Hampton at the same time, making a great event even more exciting. With the date changes for Hampton I will most likely not be making it Friendship for the spring shoot, 6/13-6/20 or the Old Northwest Primitive Rendezvous from 6/26-7/3, also at Friendship.
July 3-5th will be at Old Fort Niagara for the F and I War reenactment. July 24th to August 9th is Pennsic War at Cooppers Lake in PA.
Sept 4th - 6th is Fort Henry Days in Wheeling WV and also Fair at New Boston in Springfield OH.
War of the Wings in NC is still finalizing things, but looks to be from Oct 10-17th. A big change this year is Feast of the Hunters Moon moving to October 23-25th. This means we will not be able to go the Fall OVPR Oct 22-25th.
November 13-14 should be the Beaufort Pirate Invasion in Beafort NC.
Still tweaking a few things, looking for a couple more events I think.
