Now being prepped on S&K's shop floor for paint application are two Fig 6910 Surface Absorption Desuperheaters. These units are inverted on skids to keep the center of gravity low for ease of transport. Both units function the same way by incorporating a water spray to desuperheat steam that passes through the vessel. This equipment is designed and fabricated in Pennsylvania to the requirements of the ASME B&PV Code Section VIII, Div. 1.
