One of our fondest traditions at Deien has always been our Visits with Santa. Over the years, we’ve loved watching children’s faces light up when they spotted Santa, dove into the coloring pages, or joined in the festivities. Those joyful reactions are memories we’ll hold onto forever.

Every year, we added something new to the display—and somehow, 2024’s display topped them all. It was the perfect blend of magic, nostalgia, and Christmas cheer.

But the very best part?

Janet’s handcrafted Christmas Village.
Each piece of that beautiful village was lovingly hand-painted by her over the years, and it became the heart of our holiday setup. It’s a piece of art, a piece of history, and a piece of Janet’s heart all wrapped together.

Thank you to everyone who made our Visits with Santa so special. Your smiles, laughter, and shared moments are what made this tradition truly unforgettable.

What an emotional day. This evening, we completed our very last delivery — a 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 LTZ — to longtime friends of the Deien family, Doug and Dawn Dunn. Thank you, Doug and Dawn, for being part of our journey.

The Dunns have trusted us with their business for many years. The earliest record we found was a 2011 Silverado purchased from Nathan back in 2010. Fittingly, he was the one who sold them both their first and their final Silverado from this dealership. EDIT: Doug said his very first was a red 2007 Silverado 1500 purchased in 2007!

We couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful way to close this chapter. ❤️

PS - we do have another customer on a test drive, so we may have 2 "last" deliveries today!

62nd Running of the Indianapolis 500

"Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, the Chevrolet Corvette was already in its 25th year of production when, in 1978, it finally served for the first time as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500. The black and metallic silver Corvette was powered by the L82, a 350-cubic-inch overhead valve V8 engine which could produce 220 horsepower at 5,200 RPM.

"Chevrolet had originally planned to build 2,500 replicas, but by the time retired former “500” winner Jim Rathmann paced the field down for the start on race morning, orders had already reached 6,500, and would eventually top out at around 7,000."
