Introducing A&R Iron Works' "Safe Steps for the Holidays" Giveaway!

This holiday season, we're giving back to our community in a way we know best — by helping make someone's home a little safer!

Since 1979, A&R Iron Works has proudly served our community, and we've seen firsthand how much of a difference a safe, sturdy railing can make. For some, navigating a few steps without a railing can be a daily challenge. Unfortunately, the cost of having one installed isn't always financially possible.

That's why we're excited to announce our "Safe Steps for the Holidays" campaign!

We're giving away a FREE custom-fabricated and professionally installed railing, valued at up to $2,500, to someone in need!

We're looking for a deserving individual or family who could benefit from a new railing. Maybe it's an elderly neighbor, a loved one with mobility challenges, or someone who's been putting off a much-needed railing because of the expense.

Complete the nomination form and tell us why the person you're nominating deserves to be selected and how a new railing could make a difference in their life.

IMPORTANT: You'll need to upload a photo of the steps or area where the railing is needed as part of your nomination.

GIVEAWAY DETAILS:

Free railing valued at up to $2,500, including professional installation.

Must be located within 35 miles of our shop in Trainer, PA.

Recipient selected in early December, with installation planned before Christmas.

Selected recipient must agree to allow us to share their story and project photos.

Our community has supported our family business for nearly five decades, and this is our opportunity to give something meaningful back. We hope to provide someone with not just a beautiful new railing, but greater safety, confidence, and peace of mind this holiday season.

When this customer in Sharon Hill, PA told us he wanted the strongest, most durable railings possible, we knew exactly what to do!

Unfortunately, this location sees its fair share of abuse and potential vandalism, and the existing railings just weren't holding up. The customer wanted something that could take a beating while still providing a safe, comfortable, and attractive design.

So we took heavy-duty to a whole new level!

These railings feature massive 1.5" solid steel posts, solid steel pickets, extra-thick top molding with 1/8" thick walls, and permanent one-piece metal shoes. To finish things off, we core drilled the posts directly into the concrete for maximum strength and stability.

The result? A set of custom railings built to withstand just about anything thrown their way. We're pretty sure even a Mack truck would have its work cut out for it trying to take these down!

At A&R Iron Works, every railing we build is custom fabricated to fit the specific needs of the customer and their property. Whether you're looking for something simple and elegant or something built like a tank, we've got you covered!
