Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabrication Technician with strong mechanical aptitude. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, understands mechanical systems, and is comfortable fabricating, assembling, troubleshooting, and improving custom components and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fabrication, assembly, and modification of metal and mechanical components
Operate shop equipment such as welders, grinders, saws, drills, and fabrication tools
Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and specifications
Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with repairs or custom solutions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Assist with shop organization, material handling, and equipment maintenance
Required Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
Basic fabrication knowledge (cutting, fitting, welding, or assembly)
Ability to accurately measure, layout, and work with hand and power tools
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Preferred (But Not Required)
Welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
Experience in automotive, off-road, or custom fabrication
Laser cutting table experience. Not required
Machining or CNC experience. Not required
Formal trade school or technical training. Not Required
