Today (3/20) officially marks 58 years of business!

In 1964, Paul Halsey started adapa, Inc. as a manufacture of construction tools and carts, which he moved to Topeka. The name adapa came about as the slogan for the company was adaptable products for increased productivity. Paul took his products to many trade shows, conventions and conferences through out the United States and Canada. Some of his products had patents both in the USA and Canada. In 1987, adapa moved to where it is currently located, and then in 2002 added a large addition to the manufacturing plant. Happy Birthday Apada, inc!

Adapa, Inc. was started in 1964 by Paul F. Halsey and the business is still a family owned and operated business today. Paul saw a need for the construction industry to have well constructed, USA made, material handling carts. Adapa started with one design and over the years has increased our product line to fit the needs of the construction trades.

With our focus on the material handling aspects of drywall sheet goods, we have continued to offer new and innovative products to the market that are often imitated but never duplicated in their quality.
