I recently completed a custom fabrication project for a client's landscaping dump truck, designing and building a trailer hitch and side step. The client initially requested a simple attachable hitch; however, it was necessary to create a lowering brace to ensure adequate frame clearance during dumping operations while maintaining the structural integrity required for towing. The fabrication process utilized 4"x1/8" C channel and 1.5"x1/8" square tubing, which was securely attached to the truck's main frame. The step was constructed from 1.5"x1/8" square tubing. The customer expressed satisfaction with the final product, and I found the project particularly enjoyable. Further updates will be shared soon.

Over the weekend, I tackled a critical aluminum repair. The trailer sustained significant damage when a forklift fork punctured its side panel. Given the tight two-hour deadline, the repair required careful time management. The largest portion of time was spent heating the aluminum to a workable temperature and executing precise bends to restore the panel's original shape without cracking it. Although a more detailed finish would have been ideal, the customer's schedule constraints dictated prioritizing the structural integrity of the repair over aesthetics. The customer was pleased with the outcome, which was the primary objective.

Cutting up these aluminum tubes for a trailer rack a customer wants. I haven't used TIG in awhile but I'm sure I can do it. Let's get it done!

The before and after of a trailer i did today. This thing was burnt to a crisp.
Came out really good at the end though, the customer was very happy with it!

Customer brought these hollowed out cat's from his car. He chopped them up pretty good to take everything out. Love doing Automotive stuff, which coincidentally has been what a lot of my recent work has been on. Which is awesome!

Just finished up these little yard Javilinas. The old foot braces had rusted really bad and were starting to crumble and fall off. So I plasma cut some new foot braces and welded those in place. Came out really good, customer was very happy.
