We hosted our annual company Christmas party this past weekend and it was a blast!

We had the opportunity to honor Matt Thomas and Ronda Maifeld with plaques and gifts to commemorate 10 years of outstanding service and dedication to E & K Equipment. It's employees like these that keep small companies like ours going and we really appreciate everything they've done for us over the years!

Thank you Matt & Ronda!

We also played some cut throat bingo and held an ugly sweater contest with our youngest VTC Co-Op Trainee Joe Richards taking home the win and $50 🏆

Overall we had a good night full of good food, games, and celebration!

Thanks to all of our employees for everything they do for us and happy holidays everyone!

Another big beauty out the door today!

This Clyde Frame 12 Winch will be heading to it's new home in Kingston, NY to help with dry-docking and launching barges at Feeney Shipyard.

Not all of our winches go on barges or dredges in the water, but they all pull their weight in one way or another 🏋️

We will be closed Monday September 1st, 2025 to celebrate Labor Day!

It was the labor unions of the manufacturing industry that pioneered Labor Day. Originating as a strike organized in New York City in 1882, Labor Day was the beginning of unionized industry and the battle for standard 40 hour work weeks.

In June 1894, President Grover Cleveland finally signed the Labor Day bill to introduce Labor Day as a national holidays.

Working conditions have come a long way since then, and there are much higher standards of safety and labor protection across many states in the U.S.

Now Labor Day is the holiday we look back on and celebrate as an integral part of the evolution of industry in our country.

We hope everyone enjoys their long weekend!
