432 miles rode yesterday Nome - Galena. Collin wrecked leaving Unakleet. Not sure what speed he was going but it was as fast as the sled would go. Now it’s survival mode. Get to the finish line. We will be headed to McGrath today 230 miles.

My close friend from the Army and former employee, Craig Clayton lived in Alaska with his family for years. His son Collin Clayton still lives and works there and has entered the world's longest, toughest snowmobile race, Iron Dog, 2500 miles through the Alaska wilderness.

Powertronic Inc is the helmet sponsor for the race and Collin will be posting pictures soon. The race is February 17-25.

Politicians and media lead us to believe that the United States is an environmental problem with energy. Here is a quick story and graph, over 60% of energy produced is from fossil fuels. Conversion can be good, but it is a slow, a very slow process. Patience, some things take time.

Coal still leads the charge when it comes to global electricity sources, representing 35% of global power generation.
