Very solid day of fishing yesterday on both trips! Had an awesome group of guys from Wisconsin in the morning, in 4 hours we managed to round up sheepshead, drum, and flounder. Didn’t get any pics during the afternoon trip, thanks to the weather, but we managed to throw 5 keepers in the box to take to Bubba Gumbo’s to get cooked up. We released about the same number of fish before the storms ran us off the water, but still a successful hour and half of fishing nonetheless. These storms are a challenge to schedule around, but the fish seem to be chewing! See y’all out there.

Had a special one this morning, we had Mrs. Seaford at 99 years young, and she was an absolute pleasure! She showed up ready to rock and roll at 6:30, and ended up boating our biggest fish of the day. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to take her and her children out today, what an inspiration she was. Thank you guys so much, and I’ll see y’all next year!!

Reuben has had many successful fishing trips with me, but the one thing that’s always eluded him is a legal size sheepshead. So that was yesterday’s goal, safe to say we knocked that out of the park, stayed on them for 3 hours straight. Every fish was 14” and up, even had a couple or 20” fish, threw back as many as we kept. Early morning start time before the heat is going to be the ticket for the next couple months.

Whacked and stacked them this morning. Beautiful conditions and even better water, a lot of quality sheeps in the 15-18”...

We definitely proved the first cast curse wrong today! Jacks were everywhere this morning and we smoked one on the very first cast of the day. Came across another school 20 minutes later and boated another, Scott and Jacob were pretty wore out after that. So we switched gears and snatched up a few fish for dinner then headed home before it got too stifling hot. What an awesome day, thanks so much guys!!!

Rolling into the start of Memorial Day weekend, and our bite is very solid. Sheepshead have been my favorite target this week and they’re showing out! Topped it off yesterday evening with our first jack of the year to get our weekend rolling. Going to be a very busy and crowded weekend, so make sure you stay vigilant and safe on the water.
