📢**IMPORTANT INFO as we approach the end of Spring season full time and head into Summer season part time + appointment availability**
We are down to three weeks left of regular, 6 days a week, full time open lot/shop hours, besides most likely being CLOSED Friday June 26 🎂 and Saturday July 4th 🎆
Temporary Summer part time schedule begins the week of July 5! As of now, I’m expecting to have regular later afternoon/evening hours on Tuesdays/Thursdays and possibly some Fridays through July with Saturday morning meet up availability as well, after which I’ll reassess our daughter’s gymnastics schedule and adjust accordingly. Appointments and porch pick-ups outside the odd hours can certainly always be requested, often times Ethan is here after/around his commercial work anyway and I will often be working the tree field up the road, too, so never hesitate to ask and we’ll try to work something out if we can! We appreciate any and every attempt to continue supporting us!
Stone and gravel remain stocked here all year long, as well as in-shop stuff like Earthley herbals, MI Gardener seeds & fertilizer, REAL B Homestead products, etc., but we will stop restocking mulch for the year pretty soon unless we get enough guaranteed orders to make buying another semi load(s) worth it. Dirt product availability may vary, but large loads, specifically, can always make Ethan’s priority list & he will try to accommodate whenever possible throughout the year. Deliveries of in-stock products are also able to be scheduled year round, just with similarly a bit less/different availability in the off seasons.
Along with less time stationed here at the lot during the off-seasons also comes less time monitoring this site/app!! In an attempt to avoid being further drained by social media and the awful, stressful news we are constantly bombarded with here (and now fake AI everything, too 🤮— you will NOT see it on my pages/posts *ever* by the way, if that’s something that matters to you. Keeping it real & 💯 original to the best of my ability, always!!), as well as to continuously try to make better choices for the Earth/our natural environment, I try to delete this app until I need to start posting for the tree farm again in the Fall. Therefore, I will not see comments nor messages as quickly [if at all sometimes]. Please scroll down to check recent posts for most up to date info, then if needed text my cell (740-605-6825) for best communication and response time outside of Spring season!
But again, still here Mon-Sat for the next three weeks (besides the 26th & 4th), and we are often close by!
For me, after essentially 4 months straight of constant overtime work hours and 6 day work weeks, the Summer “off” season brings such relieving time to finally get back to impactful basic things like tending to horribly neglected housework, dedicated homeschooling time, being able to actually garden in the mornings instead of just the final couple daylight hours left at night, get back to the tree farm again and start reclaiming the field and trimming trees and everything else, and most importantly my freedom to take the time to spend with my kids enjoying our land and swimming in the pond and doing any and all the things we love without daily commitments and alarms! 🥳Bring on Summer time!! 💙💚
