What are we working on Today?

๐Ÿš— Towed In: 2017 Ford

This 2017 Ford was brought to our shop on a tow truck due to a severe water pump leak.

On many Ford engines, the water pump is driven by the timing chain and located inside the engine. When these water pumps begin to fail, repairs can be extensive due to the extensive disassembly required to access the pump.
What are we working on?

Preventive repairs today can help avoid much larger repairs tomorrow.

๐Ÿš— Transmission Fluid Check ๐Ÿš—
During a recent inspection on this 2007 Mazda 5 Touring, we checked the condition of the transmission fluid and found it was noticeably darker than new fluid.
Fresh transmission fluid helps:
โœ… Protect internal components
โœ… Improve shifting performance
โœ… Reduce heat and wear
โœ… Extend transmission life
Based on the fluid condition, we recommended a transmission drain-and-refill as part of preventive maintenance.
โš ๏ธ In more extreme cases โ€” such as burnt fluid, heavy contamination, slipping, or harsh shifting โ€” we may recommend a more extensive transmission service using our BG Transmission Exchange Machine.
Unlike a standard drain-and-refill, the BG system exchanges nearly 100% of the old fluid while simultaneously installing new fluid and conditioners. It also helps clean internal transmission components and restore transmission performance without overfilling or underfilling the system.
Routine fluid inspections every 30,000 miles can help catch issues early and prevent costly repairs down the road!
