Today, we honor and thank all who have served our country with courage and dedication. At Stevens Company, we hold this day especially close to our hearts. Our founder, Carlton Stevens, proudly served in World War I before establishing our company. His commitment to service, integrity, and craftsmanship continues to inspire us more than 80 years later.

To all veterans, past and present, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your sacrifice makes our freedom and opportunities possible every day.

Yesterday, Christopher Mariotti, our Assistant Quality Manager, spent the morning speaking at Ansonia High School to students interested in the Manufacturing Pathway to discuss his firsthand experience in the field.

We at Stevens Company want to extend a heartfelt thank you for shining a spotlight on this important initiative.

It’s incredibly vital that we keep our youth engaged, curious, and empowered in this field. Whether through mentorship, partnerships, or hands-on experiences, nurturing the next generation helps ensure innovation, sustainability, and excellence in what we all do.

We’re proud to stand alongside organizations and people who recognize that investing in young talent today means building a stronger future tomorrow.

Thank you to Ansonia High School Pathway Programs for giving him the time to speak on this topic and about the potential pathways and careers in the manufacturing industry!

Yesterday, we celebrated our 80th anniversary, and what better way to mark this amazing milestone than with our entire Stevens family coming together for a company picnic.

Eight decades of innovation, dedication, and teamwork have brought us to this moment, and we couldn't be more grateful for every employee, past and present, who has contributed to our success.

Here's to 80 years of excellence and many more to come! Thank you for being part of the Stevens legacy.

Thank you to Frankie's for catering our event and Clocktown Brewing Company for supplying us with the best local beer in town!

Carlton Stevens was a remarkable World War I veteran, inventor, and industrialist who founded Stevens Company, Inc. over eight decades ago. He was described as "a man possessed; of brilliance and of a stubbornness to excel at any job" with an iron will that became the company's guiding principle.

During WWI, Carlton demonstrated exceptional courage and determination by traversing 287 miles of war-scarred France on a motorcycle to deliver the Armistice to General Pershing. His wartime experience exemplified the resilience and problem-solving spirit that would later define his business approach.

Carlton designed and built the original machine that started the company, establishing a tradition of innovation that continues today with highly accurate manufacturing equipment.

Stevens Company remains a family business, now operated by the third generation of Stevens, continuing Carlton's legacy of going "above and beyond to deliver a product that stands up to the test of time."
