The anticipation has been killing us. We finally got this post oak Burl cut open. She’s a beaut but it’s hard to see all her glory until we are able to get it sanded out and finished.
This process can take some time. They have been sprayed with a sealer and need to air dry for at least a year before we put them in the kiln. Drying them too quickly can cause major issues with splitting and cracking.
