We’re excited to exhibit at the Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns Annual Convention on March 19 in Warwick. We provide engineering services across Rhode Island, working with municipalities and state agencies to design infrastructure improvements in communities throughout the state.

We are happy to welcome Brad Leach, PE, as Program Director of Transportation to our Rhode Island office!

With 37 years of traffic and transportation engineering experience in Rhode Island, Brad has led a wide range of safety, mobility, and congestion-relief projects for RIDOT and municipal clients. He brings extensive expertise across a wide range of transportation planning and engineering disciplines and a strong understanding of the state’s roadway and traffic needs. In his new role, he will guide Green’s Rhode Island transportation portfolio, strengthen coordination with state and municipal agencies, and support our team as we deliver critical infrastructure solutions to our clients across the region.

Our Social Committee hosted a private cooking class at Taste Buds Kitchen in North Andover, where our team enjoyed an evening of cooking, camaraderie, and good food. We appreciate all the fun events our Social Committee plans, creating opportunities to connect with colleagues both in and out of the office.

We love summertime in New England! What’s better than cruising around Boston Harbor? This summer our team enjoyed a Tiki boat cruise, taking in the views and fresh sea air. We also hosted our annual summer outing at Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury, MA, where we shared lunch, picked blueberries, and assembled flower bouquets. Cider donuts anyone?

We appreciate everyone who helped coordinate these events and all who participated. These gatherings provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues outside the office and celebrate the season.

Congratulations to our newest PEs! We are thrilled to share that Cankang Wu and Alex Duffield have obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) licenses!

Can is a Transportation Engineer with over six years of experience in designing infrastructure improvements for state and municipal clients. His work spans roadway corridor design, drainage and utility layout, and complex intersections and roundabout design. With a deep understanding of design standards and technical documentation, Can serves as a valuable partner to our team and our clients.

Alex is a Structural Engineer with over five years of experience in the inspection, load rating, and design of bridges and structures. Proficient in both field and office environments, Alex plays an important role in each phase of project delivery. His strong foundation in structural engineering and attention to detail make him a trusted contributor to the success of our projects.

We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with both Can and Alex as they continue to grow their careers.

Thank you to the judges for recognizing the thought and strategy behind our Spring 2024 rebrand. As one judge noted, "Green's refreshed branding is thoughtful; simultaneously rooted in legacy and moving the organization into the future."

The rebrand was a collaborative effort that brought our entire team into the process. We updated our logo and visual identity, embracing a design that is modern, recognizable, and more aligned with who we are today.

Green was proud to sponsor, volunteer at, and play in The Engineering Center Education Trust’s (TECET) 33rd Annual Golf Tournament. We look forward to this event each year, as proceeds support TECET’s mission to advance the engineering and land surveying professions through education, scholarships, and outreach.

We also recognize Green’s Ko Ishikura for his leadership during his nine-year tenure as a TECET Trustee, including his service as Chair over the past seven years.

Representatives from Green participated in Engineers and Land Surveyors Day and Water’s Worth It Day at the Massachusetts State House. This annual event brings together organizations including the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA), Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section (BSCES), and Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors & Civil Engineers (MALSCE), along with leaders from other engineering and design-related associations, to raise awareness among legislators about the priorities of the engineering, land surveying, and public infrastructure community.

Our team met with state representatives and senators to discuss transportation funding, water infrastructure needs, and other critical issues. We appreciate the opportunity to advocate on behalf of our industry and clients, and we’re grateful to the legislators and staff who took the time to meet with us. Thank you as well to the staff from The Engineering Center Education Trust and Rasky Partners for coordinating this event.

Members of our team participated in the 2025 Step Up for Colleen 5K Walk/Run, supported by our Charitable Contribution Committee.

Proceeds from the race benefit charitable initiatives honoring Colleen Ritzer’s legacy, including the Colleen E. Ritzer Memorial Scholarship, which supports graduating high school seniors pursuing a degree in education.

Thank you to our staff who took part in this meaningful event, and to the organizers for their continued efforts to support such an important cause.
